We will grid on the cold pits. People in garages can exit the garage and directly enter the grid (unless you'd have to back up to get there- in that case you must go around the building). Traffic will exit the track going between the event center and the garage building. Traffic entering grid will enter on the same road (as you are looking at the track from the paddock, the traffic exiting the track will be on the RIGHT, traffic going to grid will be on the LEFT). We are having volunteers that will manage the car traffic as well as the foot traffic that is heavy in this area. Late to grid will require you to enter the opposite side of the building. Getting to grid early will earn you a drive around the paddock penalty.
We plan to release cars from grid once the last car is around turn 11. We are not kidding about blowing checkered flag. Miss one, you miss a session...miss it another time you are going home. |
