Doubt i'll ever go back to a gas grill. Mine lights up and is ready to cook in about 10-15 min with little to no supervision during that time. Typically light it, go back outside to close the lid in 5 min. Put the grill grates on after 5 more min. Go get the food, thermometer, utensils from the kitchen and it's ready.
