Red Bull top speed did not matter

Despite the Red Bull top speed, it was actually the low speed corners where Max gained time on Ferrari.

Max talent for managing the car control exploited this new strength. Ferrari remains top in high speed corners but low speed is now dominated by Red Bull.

Tire management remains a strength for Max, particularly gaining a 3 sec advantage on his out lap after pit.

Two fastest laps, note Max did not have DRS. Ferrari used DRS to gain top speed advantage but was still slower.

The rear wing differences are interesting, the Red Bull seems to have a larger DRS flap but may be an optical illusion.

Top speed advantage and low speed advantage seems impossible but Newey and Co have designed a magic suspension to accomplish this. Well done.
