yes, 225 will be decently stretched on 8.5". 255(mild stretch) is the minimum tire size i'd use is on 9.5", i suppose you can run a stretched 245 on 9.5". as you can tell i'm not a fan of overly stretched tires.

i cannot see the tire size in photos, but since the lips look somewhat exposed, it appears he ran moderately stretched on 9.5"
