As for the random plug, I can’t recall exactly where that one goes. I want to say it plugs into the back of the radio, 12v adapter wire, or the glove box light. That being said it could be part of the problem but in my experience it’s the plugs behind the center vents.

Ajolives. I did a reset of the connectors, and everything works again.
One thing to note for those in the US and/or who have LCI. I'm not sure which it is. On the back of the HVAC panel, there are three connector spots. In most YouTube videos, all three are used; however, in my case (at least I think), only two are used.
I spent a few hours taking things apart looking for an extra wire that I thought I was missing, LOL. Also, that connector shown in my first pic is not used for anything - at least for me.
