BMW does NOT pay for it anymore, just a special rate. I believe it also applies to the Grand Bohemian in downtown Greenville which is also very nice. However you have to travel back/forth to the Performance Center which with traffic can really suck. Weekday traffic in Greer/Greenville is no fun.
