It suppose to be series of shots. I've heard everything from once a month to twice a week. I get mine once a week. It's been such a change that even friends and coworkers have noticed a difference in my mood and function.

It depends on what the doctor shot him with. Immunotherapy is a treatment course with multiple shots as you describe. A shot a week for three years to start with. However, his doctor might have given him a corticosteroid shot to try to help with the symptoms.

My allergist seems to think these shots are not worth it, but some other doctors think otherwise.
