I had it on my last f30. When it was actually cold outside, the heated steering was useless. It took a few MINUTES to become even noticeable. By the time it was actually working, your hands and the heat from the A/C had already warmed the wheel sufficiently.
Similar to my wife's Subaru heated seats. So slow and weak. By the time you feel any heat from them, your body temperature had warmed the seat for you. Pretty useless in both cases actually. Would not order again.
