There were numerous discussions about ‘nose’ useless posting here. Perhaps we may look at member rating system similar to:

At this Lexus IS forum any member can “approve” and “disapprove” any given post, so statistically over the time each member has its own reputation. I’ve seen some members even with negative rating over there (still posting crap, but you at least have some extra hintch to ignore it). You prohibited to give approval to the same member before you approve some other member.
As a drawback, there is some constant soliciting for feedback, but by law of large numbers it works just fine.
I think it will be beneficial for new members who may don’t know who is who there. Not pointing any fingers
