I just got my m3 about a month ago. My main car is a Ford F-150. I've driven a truck for about the last 15 years or so. I haven't hardly been in the truck in the last month but I took it to dinner last night and it felt like driving an unruly city bus after being in the m3 for the past month. I must say I'm not doing myself any favors on gas though. The truck has a big V8 in it too and might get worse gas mileage than the M3. I like having a big truck though so i'll probably keep it. I started working from home about two and half years ago and in that time I've put about 8,000 miles on my truck. I live in an area that allows me to walk to most my entertainment so I hope i'll be able to stretch out the life of my M3 the same way I have my truck. I bought it new in 2005 and it just rolled over to 100,000.
