I was told by someone who should know that the CGT was very profitable which is unlike most hyper cars.

The majority who make these cars seldom sell all examples, Porsche on the other hand sold all and could have easily made more because of the demand. Now I doubt it would be possible for any manufacturer to sell a decent amount so I don't expect to see many so-called hyper cars for the next few years.
