HUD is a $1,300 option on 5-series, but that also gets you the extended black instrument panel. AFAIK, that extended black panel is not available on the F30, so may be less.
The contents of the HUD display will depend on options as well, so could result in other costs. For example, I think you would only get speed display and maybe current cruise speed setting at base option level.
- Nav required for directions (obviously, ~$2,000 option)
- Lane departure info (comes with $1,350 Driver's Assistance Pkg on F10)
- Speed limit and warnings from front camera (TBD - new on F30)
