Yea.... when I learned that the Louwman Museum had a McLaren M8F, I knew I had to go there! Then I learned that orange M8F was from the Rosso Bianco Museum.

For those that do not know the Rosso Bianco Collection (in Aschaffenburg, Germany - near Frankfurt) was THE museum for classic sports cars and race cars. They had it ALL!!! Just look at this list...

* largest Alfa Romeo-Collection in the world apart the factory museum
* largest Lancia-Collection in Europe
* largest Abarth-Collection in Germany
* largest Lotus-Collection in Europe
* largest Lola-Collection in the world
* largest McLaren-Collection in the world
* largest CanAm-/Interseries-Collection in the world
* huge Porsche-Collection
* important Zagato-Collection
* lots of Ferraris, Maseratis and Lamborghinis
* continuous motorcycle-exhibition (about. 50 Exp.)

Here is a good website showing some of the cars Rosso had. Too bad the museum went belly up in 2006.
