I don't think Chevy will have to do anything other than what they're doing. The Z06 may "only" have 650hp vs. 707hp for the Hellcat, but the Z06 should weigh close to 900lbs less than the Hellcat! That means the Z06 will have a 5.54lbs/HP vs. 6.36lbs/HP for the Hellcat.

When the next Camaro comes out, it "should" weigh less than the current car. The current ZL1 is already more nimble and handles better than the Hellcat. Again, if the Chevy equals the HP/LB ratio as the Hellcat, the Camaro should still handle better and possibly equal straight line speed.
