It sucks for sure. I'm also (was) an avid sportbike rider so I am used to having to put the "fun" stuff away for 6 months a year. It sucks and more than anything I hate the weather in Ontario, Canada.
I've only driven my "nice" cars in summer/spring weather. They all go in the garage for hibernation the moment temps start going below 5 degrees Celcius.
I don't like driving a shittier car but I'm fine with it. It could be a lot worse. My beater cars could be my only cars.
