Obviously transport costs are high for every team, but it's also a result of having so many races per year all over the globe.
Shouldn't transport costs fall outside of the cost cap maybe?

I haven't looked into the cost cap that much and didn't think it applied to actual transport costs. Now that you mentioned that it is then I think it should not be anything to do with the FIA cost cap as well as food and stay expenses for the teams, it should relate to expenditure and tech on the actual cars.
