*Obviously I'll only need one for myself, but figured I should probably get one for the instructors inevitably riding in my car. I'm guessing it would be a dick move to have a sweet QFP for myself while my instructor is relegated to the factory belt.

yes the anchor straps are left in place in the back seat area as well as the one along the door anchored to the seat. i got the harness pads and found them comfortable and useful. harness grips just make it easier to pull down the shoulder pulls and arent really needed.
for me i never removed the harness and just used it all the time on the street as well until switching to regular full 6 point harness.
