Did Rod bearings about 2k miles ago and I’ve had to top it off twice, both within about 500 miles of the oil change. In the 3k miles I had the car before this I never had to top it off once.
First time was after Rod bearing job and it went down to about half meter on the digital dipstick, then again about 500 miles after my 1k mile oil change. Both times the drop happened during spirited drives.
Is it common to start burning oil after RBs with the increased clearances? Or is this potentially natural oil dropage after oil changes.
