Why not just exercise more and eat what you want? The benefits of regular exercise on your cardiovascular health and mental well being vs. being a slug on a plant based diet seem to be a no brainer to me. I'm married as well and work all the time but I find time to run/walk/hike 15 miles a week at least and hit the gym when I can.
I go to the gym 5 days a week, the problem is not working out. I want to feel healthier inside, and live a healthy life style. Here's a picture of me to get an idea.
