anything but typical American mentality. fireline43 is being (or at least he's
thinking of being) frugal with his money.
The typical American spends like there's no tomorrow, lives far beyond his or her means, and is under the delusion that he can still retire comfortably at a reasonable age (~65, give or take a few years).
