This is a highly uninformed, and otherwise idiotic statement. We are talking about the same Lakers that got Pau Gasol and three consecutive Finals appearances for a scrub, i.e., Kwame Brown, right? The same Lakers that have put highly capable and competitive teams together and made it to the playoffs all but three times since 1977?
