go read on m6board dot com in the E63 forums to find out pros and cons. The E63 M6 was the best M6 ever imagined thanks to the mighty S85. It will never be matched again, so if you have the opportunity to acquire a clean one, go for it. I got mine new and had it for nearly 4 years and it was some of the best times possible in terms of driving enjoyment. There is NOTHING that can compare to the brute rawness and power and sound of the ///M powered V10 S85, and no matter what the new car puts out in terms of power, it can never compete, imho. But lets not digress as this is not an NA vs FI thread. Just know that every day will be special in the E63 M6 as soon as you hit that start button.
Id say be sure to get an '08 or later though as most of the kinks were worked out by then and there were some new features added. You'll need to have a warranty though in all cases, so factor that in. good luck.
