Its luck really.
When I had my 08 E92, it sees about 4-5 track days per year without consuming any oil.
With my 13' Comp Pack, its drinking 1 qtz every 9000km which doesn't see any track time.
Before the 13' Comp pack I was in the market for a GTR.
Some 12' GTRs with 7000km experience fuel gauge light failure. Some MFD screen turns pink. Drivetrain solenoid A & B failure. These problems are common enough that local workshops stock ready parts for them.
Yet some son of a bitch 2008 GTR with 75,000km runs without any problem since day 1.
