Yes sir. I'm going solo Friday morning (maybe bring along a friend that hasn't decided yet). Saturday bringing my wife. I'm hoping the parking that the group parks at is on asphalt.

I agree, I did Rolex and F1 last year and spend most of my time in the gras at turn 1. my favorite spot on the track for sure. (get to see the cars come out of the pits, get to see them come up the hill at full throttle (quite a bit of passes happen at T1) and then the hard acceleration after the turn, the exhausts are right at you...

on a similar note, not to threadjack, the vintage races are Oct. 11-12. I'm going to that as well in hopes that an m1, csl or Porsche 935s/962s make an apprearance. I've never heard any of those cars in person and am dying to take pictures of them in the pits.
