No it's not and here IMHO is why: Vettel has a specific driving style whereby last years Redbull suited him perfectly; i.e. punch the throttle at the apex and let Adrian Newey's superior aerodynamics (the rear diffuser) 'suck' the rear end to the road and woosh, he was gone.

Vettel has simply not been able to adapt to the torque characteristics and the markedly different handling of the 2014 cars, whilst others, including Ricciardo have. In certain ways it seems to make him a somewhat unidimensional driver to my thinking. I fear that he will not be much more successful at Ferrari next year because he hasn't, (can't?) adapt as well. This makes an Alonso and Hamilton ultimately a better overall driver than Vettel, who without a doubt is still a phenom.
