have you looked at the cost to replace the EV batteries in these cars? Many are worse than the OP's article.
Fact : EV batteries are a huge financial liability, and it will impact a lot of people as we adopt this technology. It will render a lot of cars disposable that would have otherwise been repaired.
Fact : EV batteries aren't actually getting cheaper, even as the technology allegedly matures.
