Miles are generally not an issue.
You'll need a suspension work if it has not been done yet. New brakes may be coming again soon (every 70k miles on average, but very dependent on driving habit). Check for oil leaks, they are not a showstopper but can get expensive to fix.
Other than that, the car is solid. Don't know much about the diesels, you may have more chance on the UK forum.
