The Goodwood 'wall' isn't shown in any of the posted photos, so, not quite sure which wall you are refering to....?
There is no original layout for the FofS as such it been the same since the first one held back in the early 1990's, the 'track' is part of the main drive up to Goodwood House and through the estate...and yes, if you are refeing to the Goodwood 'wall' not shown in the photos, yes, plenty of expensive machinery has hit that over the years.
However, I wonder if you are getting this event confused with the Goodwood Revival Meet which is held on the original Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit in September of each year.
