My 2011 535i died on the freeway today. FYI two BMW Assist tow trucks came and both of them didn't know how to get the car into N when the engine wouldn't start.
My car is at the dealer now getting diagnosed.

I spoke to a service adviser who told me that the official recall has not started yet and they do not have the right parts to fix the cars. He told me that I should keep an eye on it and he expects the parts to come in in the next 3-4 weeks.
Sucks about your car man, keep us updated.
