Many many times... it's not the same thing nor will ever be. Each company has its place and niche... this is simply trying to gain market size at all expense. I understand why, I am just not sure I agree with why.
Also, what's wrong with a 228 / 328? You can lease those cars for next to free... both good cars sticking to core principles. Nice chassis with RWD, priced well. Not a fan of the steering but I doubt many care about that tbh.
