As usual I come back to m3post where it all started. Some of you know I purchased an M3 back in 2008. Drove her hard, and loved everyday of it.
Went through a lot of changes at the time, moved out of the country, etc etc. and generally learned a lot from that car. It was perfect. So three years later here's where I am. 2012 CLS63 & 2014 M6 coupe. Love these cars, but I confess, there's still something special about the M3. Just thought I'd drop by for old times sake - cheers

The M3 is special but probably the other thing is both your cars are bigger so you don't get that small car sportiness anymore. Regardless, sick lineup you've got. Enjoy and don't look back!

At M school after driving the M3, M5 and M6 I couldn't figure out any point to the 6. Same size outside as the 5 but seemed smaller inside than the 3. Does look beautiful from the outside though.
However, if I was to do a lot of highway driving and I didn't care about passengers then I think I'd really enjoy having nearly 600 hp on tap. I don't think law enforcement would appreciate it though. |

How does the CLS 63 compare to the M6? If you had to pick just one, which one couldn't you live without (Not trying to start an argument on which is superior, just what float's your boat more)?

Ill go into it very lightly. The M6 is more sportive and is happy with excessive driver input. I will say this is in part to the suspension and double clutch box. In the CLS you feel like a co-pilot. Less Sharp. However with the optional limited slip differential (which this car has) it powerslides every turn you ask it for.. Its hard to say, I'll do a full write up later
