M Performance Wheel Add on.

So i have added the 1000M wheel onto my build. I know the wheels are added once the car arrives into port from Germany.

Question: Do we get to keep the 826 Factory wheel/Tires as well? I would hope so as it will be a great wheel for winter.

You do not get to keep the 826M wheels. Your better bet is to keep the 826M with your build, then get the 1000M after (and in many cases, you can find them for less).

dealers told me they ship the factory wheel to them and i get to keep.. fingers crossed.

Dealers are often uniformed or outright lying, or both, you do not get both sets.

Keep them to their word, if they say sorry tell them that's not good enough, you expected another set of rims.

Its all documented. but my guy will do the right thing. he said his last 2 M3 deliveries got the extra wheels.

The port installed accessories can be added (and removed) up until the car gets to port. So you can have the 1000M wheels removed from your car and you'll get whatever was on it originally and then order the 1000Ms after delivery (or before separately).

Maybe that is what they will do.. order to the dealer for the wheels.

Ill have dealer remove them from the build..
The dealer can then order the wheel/and install once the car is in the US..

I got the 1000M wheels with my car when I bought it, but in addition to the 826M, not as a replacement.

They are cheaper if you build them because you don’t also get the 826M.

my dealer is telling me right now he sees both wheels on the build sheet.. im totally cool with with that.
but if you don't get to keep the 2 sets, 7000 is a bit steep for them.
However, the car is gonna be so sexy.

you can add and remove M Perf options until the car arrives at the port, you will not get the 826m's but you can remove the options your car will be on the 826ms until it arrives at the US port where they add the 1000m. VPC keeps old wheels. I'd order them separate for 6200ish from BmwPartsPro or Baum, you'll be able to keep both then.

I'm gonna keep it added to the build. this way its all in the car payment.
wheel and tires warranty covers it also.
