My situation is a little different...our current BMW 535i is my wife's...she gets me to run her errands at night by saying "you can take my car"! LOL! She knows it will be an hour before I return...but, warning, dont carry gallon of milk around for an hour drive save actually picking it up until on the way home. Note to self: Self, wife not happy with warm milk! LOL!
I have a 335is on the way...she made the comment I would not run her errands anymore...WRONG! I will just drive my car now! |

I normally go for night drives everyday, but it's been way to cold out and my car's in a parking lot far away . We got our cars so we can drive them! Not keep them in a garage all day lol.

Haha idk what it is, just the peace and light, and a smooth road put me at ease. Most of my friends live in Houston and it is a 40 min drive home to Dayton. They all are amazed at how I can drive that far and not hate it. But the drive home is the best part of the night for me. Loner, I know ha!

Love night time drives. Its absolutely amazing. It helps me relieve any tension, pressure or stress that is on my mind and lets me get my thoughts together. Really something about driving BMW that just is so calming.

Any time I can be in the car by myself, with little else to bother me, it’s a good thing. Problem is that’s not possible in DC unless it’s about 4AM on a work night. 6AM? Traffic. 10PM? Traffic.
Oh and it won’t get above freezing, so that sucks as well.

And my day dream came true: Costco run last night, about 30 miles of evening cruise. I was going at speed limit so I could drive for longer!

Love doing a peaceful yet exciting night drive...used to do it more often but when I get the chance, it's still just as fun as the first day I got her!
