Looks like they brought the site in line with the look and feel of the other sites from around the world.

Personally, I like it.

I would think they would follow internet standards. And lastly, where is the technical data?? Am I blind or is it just not included anymore. This website needs more work.
videos work in Safari (Apple browser), so it appears they supported web standards AND i have no problems finding tech. data? yes the build is not ready, but it should be shortly. i think the website looks great and was in dire need of an update! great job BMWUSA!

I can see the technical data now (specifications as they now call it). I find the new website harder to navigate. But I guess I was just really used to the old one. The videos do not work in Firefox, and the site is basically unusable in Opera. I have a degree in web design 8-) I certainly think it looks good. Navigation is a bit difficult.

M Aerodynamic Kit

I like the new site. Also did you guys notice that it has the M Aerodynamic Kit as an accessory? I hope that is a step towards offering and M sport option/model like that of Europe. It actually changes the look of the car, so if you want to see what you own would look like, there you go.

I was just there -- the process to validate my info was laborious, but the new site is pretty good. Seems easier to get to things, has 2008 models/prices in the build your own section, etc.

A little laggy, hopefully they are just working out the bugs. Either way still pretty nice compared to most other sites. Very clean and simple.

Anyone who has complaints about BMW USA should head on over to bmw.ca. Us Canadians get really shafted, with an all-Flash special that regularly has major outages in the middle of the business day and each time they update the site the configurator stops working on the mac...

I think their site runs a lot slower then their previous one. Things tend to load more for me... And build your own was down but now up... To load up the pictures on build your own sucks ass. My computer is a 2.0gzh, 2gig ram computer, so it's DEF not my computer. oh and i have fast cable modem.

It's slow at my works computer as well. I'm running firefox at home on my mac and IE with windows here at work. I think the new site sucks. it reminds me of the uk version or is it german?... i don't know but the foreign bmw sites look familiar.

It's now sped up. The BYO works better too.
