be carefull on what waterblock you choose for the q6600, most are optimized for single cores and you will get un favorable results, the block has to have good cooling across the socket facing up and down the length of the mobo vs standard blocks that dump water across the center
and thats a pretty clean looking rig though, most of them have tubes everywhere <_< |

Yeah I need to change a large number of parts for a Q6600. Luckily I work pretty close to Petras (from XS) and he usually has a good assortment of parts that so I can just go there and pick up whatever I need.

i was ganna get q6600 too, but ill wait for new generation barcelona or new chip by intel Penryn (those are ganna be insane chips with 12mb of cache ) in december (http://www.dailytech.com/Intel+Readi...rticle8657.htm)

before getting into my car i was into this comp stuff (just getting started)
i ended up buying an AMD x2 4800+ for like 780$.... and now i realize it was at the end of its life when i bought stupid socket 939's.... never again am i gonna buy the top tier stuff. dell anyone?

I must sadly admit I understood just about everything in here, but I'm on the fence about overclocking. Looking to bump up my old 939 4200+ dual core (can't remember the details). I'm running the ASUS A8N32-SLI, I think. Any rec's on the processeor?

I find that my Texas Instruments Ti99 4/a works overtime. Due for an upgrade to a Commodore 64!!!
