After the 5 month wait and and initial honeymoon period the car developed a fault and has been at the dealers since, currently on it's second visit in and has been there for 8 weeks. I'm in the process of rejecting the car..... whether this is the right decision time will tell... |

Well mine arrived in June, but was promptly took off me a month later for the rear diff recall issue. Was off the road for 9 weeks.
But in the meantime BMW gave me a new 530d to run around it which I really liked. Never even considered these in the past but if you can get around the size, everything else about the car is superior to the 3 series. Well impressed. So got the M3 back drove it for a 2 of months and got a wobble on, thought I needed to go back to a 335d (quieter, more comfortable, more torque and a few other reasons). But then managed to get a couple hour drive in a LCI 335d tourer and it made me realise what car the M3 is – sooo much better. I think that 5 series got me doubting the M3, but the 335d for me can’t replace the M3. Had the same rear shock issues as foggy and Scott (and a few others) and they replaced a rear shock and its all fine now.

(and obviously a lot more than you'd have bought it for too Chris - although different spec to mine)

I sent the rejection latter on the 5th of January, got a phone call a few days later asking me what the problem was..... did you need reading the f'ing letter!!! I had already sent them emails on the 13th & 14th of December stating I was going to reject the car if this wasn't sorted out. So since that phone call on the 7th (maybe) I have heard nothing from them direct until a letter today (two weeks later) acknowledging my complaint. They have been a disgrace. Wow, didn't expect to hear all this!! feel for you Foggy. this will always be a thread I remember, was very tempted at the time but knew I'd end up being back in the business at some stage. Just have to wait for a deal to come along on one of the employee schemes

Well it's been one year today since teaston put this original thread up, where did that year go!!!!
A few changes to the original few on the first post, foggy's just rejected his and Chris pulled out just before he received his. I think there are one or two of us about that have them from this original deal.

M3/4 deals are actually the worst they've probably ever been, there's no support at all from BMW on them at the moment! |

Collected my M4 on March 12th 2016. Fantastic car! Rybrook Warwick deal was very similar to TRL at the time and they offered a choice of M3, X6M or i8 loaner when I took it in for service.
Looking forward to getting the winters off and summers back on now.
