Tyre Repair
This afternoon I noticed a screw sticking out of the rear drivers side tyre. No TPMS warning & the pressure remains the same. Its about 1 - 1.5 inches from the edge & in the "block" rather than a groove section of the tyre. As i was some 20 miles from home I didn't want to remove it in case the tyre deflated. Drove home very sedately & its still there. Car is a 2019 430i M Sport on Goodyear 19" run flats: tyre is only 3300 miles old.
Can run flats be repaired per ser? |

Officially no.
Practically yes. It sounds like from your description as well it's not on the outer sidewall so some places do repair them - I had one repaired years ago. Best advice though - get rid of them!

With a compressor, tyre sealant kit and a self repair kit like (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Slime-20464...dp/B00C5TJ1MM/) you should be able to get home from most punctures.

As has been said some places will repair and in theory it would be fine to run on a repair but other than brakes there isn't a more important component on the car, just replace if it was me. Will PM you details of a place I know that deffo does repairs and may not be a million miles from you.
