what happened to Connected Drive?

I noticed it wasn't updating the mileage and service status for a while, and today I can't log in at all. Anyone else having issues?

Connected drive has now been superseded by "my BMW"
my experience with the new app has not been great.
You still get some of the previuos functions, such as locate, flash lights, unlock, lock etc. But I cannot get fuel level and mileage to work.
I think the new app is aimed more towards newer models.

Ah damn! So Connected is disabled? As long as I get my purchases across on the new app I don't mind

I found out by accident that My BMW app had super ceded the Connected Drive after it wouldn't work, so uninstalled it and then installed My BMW when I couldn't find the original app.

Mine works fine. It has all the same information as before and the maps are better.

BMW have taken a lot of information away from the end user. I’m not impressed with the my bmw app compared to the old one, at least as far as eDrive services are concerned. I used to be able to view electric miles driven, mpg and many other stats, both on the app and on the online dashboard in connected-drive online. All of these now gone, you’re mainly offered the settings for in car email and map updates now, the app is very sparse and I’ve left my feedback on the App Store. Purchases etc are still possible, just not that level of detail available to the end user

BMW always remove what is useful and leave in the useless bits. because they don`t want any hassle with Joe Public. If you`ve ever tried getting anything at all sorted by phoning the "bmw geniuses " at Connected Drive you`ll understand.

Looks a bit naff but OK with it so far. Thought this was a great addition but seems my car is not compatible for some reason, although I have Echo Auto:
