Detailed
Finally got my brother in law to detail the F30 this week! Really happy with the results! All the horrid swirl marks have disappeared...got some coding done too..
Really in two minds if I should change the wheels for some 20" wheels. What are your experiences with replica wheels? I really want the 763m wheels but also like the look of the 373m! |

Looking great - let me know if you want to get rid of those wheels!
IMO it's all about a balance between aesthetics and actual drive. 19 for me would be the absolute max for not feeling everything on the road surface and therefore not actually enjoying the drive. Black will be hard to keep the swirl marks off, same as my Tanzanite Blue, but when it's clean and detailed it looks amazing. Did mine about a month ago for the winter. Armaan |

Thank you guys!
I'm really impressed with the quality of the paint...when I picked it up from the dealers it was a STATE!! @Armaan I kind of agree with the ride quality being compromised but the F30 with 373m wheels looks sooo ooooo good!! 😂😂😂😂 |

That looks spot on. Seeing those photos has actually given me the kick up the arse to get the microfibre pads out and sort some of the lemon peel on the respray before winter (it's nothing worse than any of the new BMW's, but I'd just like it a bit flatter).
I also think the wheels look spot on with that, much better than the 403M's I have as they seem to have become the MV2 of the F30 world where everything seems to have them. |

Thanks guys! The car actually looks clean! I love the beading on it...
I would like to lower the car but the amount of speed bumps around me I'd be to scared of ripping my splitter off! |

Looks lovely
I had a black Fiesta years ago and when cleaned it always looked like a brand new car. Only problem was ten minutes later or especially if it rained it looked like it was ready for a wash again |

Agree with winther1. Lots of folks see a car with 20's and want it but it looks dumb unless you get rid of the wheel gap. I'd lower first then get the wheels if you want. I went with 20's and they ride better than my 18" run flats did.

You just have to get used to not pass speed bumps between the wheels, and go over full length bumps at an angle. Not many in my area (Canary Wharf), but North London/Willesden Green where my girlfriend lives is a nightmare

Car looks lovely , a decent detail makes the world of difference.
Like said above, 20's may give you the aesthetics you want, but at what cost to ride quality…. Also, before all that, I'd ditch the gel (?) plates, but that's just me. |
