brake fluid quantity

Our cars take any dot 4? To flush my brake system and install new fluid would a quart be enough? How much fluid should I order? Thanks guys.

Supposed to be DOT 4 LV.

1L should be enough if you're careful and dont spill a bunch.

I usually keep 2L on hand just in case.

Also, if you run dry and introduce air in the system, it's very possible your car will have a fail safe feature where a standard bleed won't rectify the situation. You may need a diagnostic tool like ISTA to bleed the situation.
