Well, the vendor I found before ships from Europe and had wrong shipping quote, so I had to cancel the order a few days later.
Ended up ordering from ECS, got the bumper today and they shipped the wrong part. Item description clearly says European bumper for E9x M3 without headlight washer or PDC, but the bumper showed up with PDC pre-cut.... Gonna contact them tomorrow to fix this,

Turner has OEM on sale for $553. Shipping is about $250 on top of that.
Personally, I am going OEM. Nothing fits as well, and pinching pennies over something so important seems like regret waiting to happen.

I went with non-OEM and fitment was not 100% perfect but maybe like 90%.
I do not know brand. Not aeuroplug because aeuroplug sucks. Unless you look closely under the headlights, you'd never notice the difference tbh. I think I posted pics in another thread somewhere.

OEM is the only way to go. Aftermarket fit is poor compared to OEM. I purchased an OEM Euro front bumper from iND in 2010 and had the OEM CF splitters molded to the bumper before being painted. I think it turned out looking awesome and, surprisingly, a very different look from the CF splitters taped to the bumper. I also had the CF mirror caps painted like the M5 mirror caps. Another small detail that looks better than the bare CF mirror caps.

That said, I decided the extra few hundred bucks to go from 95% fit to 100% perfect wasn't worth it. But that's me and part of me wish I pennied up too lol

I believe there are two aftermarket front bumpers available. IIRC, they both fit reasonably well except for around the headlights and tow cover areas. From pictures, I’d say it’s a 7/10-8/10 fitment which is pretty good. I certainly understand saving where you can considering this is now a 16 year old platform. However, I’m a bit OCD when it comes to cars and even if it’s something small that’s off, it drives me crazy! |

I probably missed it but looks like Turner doesn't have OEM Euro anymore

Interesting. When I ordered the oem Euro bumper it came with no PDC cutouts and no headlight washer jet cutouts. I wonder why they now come pre-drilled for PDC?

Then they told me the current supply they get are all predrilled with PDC and updated their website accordingly as well. This is very puzzling since I think PDC is an option in Europe as well and odd that they will sell these predrilled.Maybe it's a production batch thing, who knows....but don't feel like risking/dealing with that again unless someone confirm they do not come predrilled anymore

Fitment is great, but company is either out of business or a scam. I bought one on their website and got crickets. After multiple calls and emails over 2 months, I filed fraud with my credit card company and they reimbursed me. I remember reading I am not the only one that happened to.

Suvneer seems to be the new brand in town for OEM replica, EAS just started carrying their stuff but can't find a lot of reviews of them

No longer on sale. I wish I just bought it when it was. The listing seems to conflict if it has PDC or not. I plan to contact them to order and confirm when the time comes.

The picture used is exactly the ones used by ECS before they updated the webpage after I got two bumpers with PDC pre-drilled, they did update the text part to reflect the pre-drilled PDC but not the pics. I would say 98% chance Turner will be the same as ECS, and will ship them with predrilled PDC, unless there is a new batch without PDC made in the recent months.

A bit of a new finding, looks like even in US they are replacing OEM bumper with ones with PDC cutout
old PN is 51-11-8-046-008, most US website now showing 51-11-8-046-009 as the replacement, and that includes PDC cutout, IIRC front PDC was never offered in the US from factory

That's not cool, guess I will have to go aftermarket.
Suvneer offers a bumper that seems to be acceptable. I really would prefer OEM, but seems it is no longer an option.

My theory based on what i have seen in the past, is that given it's been 10 years since E9x M3 went EOP, BMW probably only make OEM parts in small batches from time to time now, and the current batch of OEM bumpers happened to be predrilled with PDC. The next batch might or might not be predrilled but no idea when they will make that As for Suvneer, I got a gut feeling they may be from the same manufacture as Aeuroplug or possibly ECS too. I heard Aeuroplug bumpers were made in Taiwan and same factory as ECS ones, Suvneer may just be the new distributor of these Taiwanese bumpers replacing Aeuroplug after they stopped operating. A decent mold for polyurethane bumpers isn't cheap and I can't see a lot of manufactures rushing in to create their own mold for a small volume(~50K vs millions of standard 3 series, etc) EOP car...

A lot of money and trouble to get rid of the reflectors that were required on USA cars since 1-1-68! Also possibly putting Chinese shit on your 100% German car.

The problem is beyond reflectors now, puzzling why BMW decided to sell all OEM bumpers with precut/predrilled PDC holes when US didn't even get the front PDC option...
