What watch do wear

I'm with Direct Line home insurance. Their cover protects individual items up to £4000.

Think dogs may be better option. My brother pays about £200 per annum for his GMT.

I dont get it. £25k of watches maybe but moaning about the cost of insurance.... Imagine how it would feel if they were taken, dogs or not. And dogs can be easily drugged....

Just watched a "watch" video on YT and the tactic at the moment is to scope out a "victim" wearing a nice watch , follow them and get a pretty "seemingly nervous" accomplice to stop them and ask for directions to thank the victim she offers a handshake at which point they loosen the clasp and after some more distracting tactics the watch is pulled from the wrist and the crim and watch are never to be seen again.

In the nice bits of London, they just stop you to ask directions and then pull a knife and you give it.... then they are on a motorbike and gone.....

I've never really done the posh watch thing. I've always liked nice watches, but never quite got as far as buying one - until now.

For the last 20+ years I've been wearing a Titanium Seiko Sportura as a daily. It's been absolutely faultless which is a testament to Seiko watches in general. I think it was about £450 when I bought it, which was reasonably expensive back then.

Today was the day to finally pop my Omega cherry and I'm super happy with it.

I was 50/50 between the blue and the black, but blue won the day.

I hold you lot entirely responsible...

There is no going back now you are on the slippery slope , pretty soon you will buy a watch box with enough space for four or six watches , and wonder what you are going to fill it with so the Watchfinder /Chrono24 websites will be getting added to your favorites.
