Will the GTM catback get rid if the raspiness (ringing) when mated to the V1 catless pipes and x pipes? Also what is the difference between the V1 and V2 catless pipes?

The gtm was designed to get rid of the raspiness. The v1 is differnt from the v2 in that the v2 has resinators and extended o2 bungs.

Will the V2 pipes with the GT catback still get rid of the raspiness?

No not really. From our tests the veloity of the gasses with our pipes are too fast for the gt mufflers to not "rasp"

exhaust

love the sound of the GTM cat back system but the HP gains of the full race system. Dont want to "tune" out the CEL.
Any idea of the HP gains with just the cat back system.

As stated in the OP, the axle back system by itself is good for plus 5-7 whp | plus 3-4 foot/lb tq.

I almost have enough saved up for this!!! Will be ordering by the end of the month

Does RPi have a section 1 with HFC's? I don't want to go catless, and I certainly don't want to spend $1000 on a tune to get rid of the CEL. Why is having a CEL bad anyway? Why can't you just keep it?

Unfortunately at this time I don't believe RPI offers an x-pipe with HFCs. You can pair the RPI axleback unit with Challenge's Sport X-Pipes which will effectively yield the same result, but any HFC setup will cause a cat inefficiency error (CEL). Having a CEL on is not an issue performance wise - but it will cause your car to pass SMOG and be a bit annoying as it shows up on the dashboard.

PM sent. I assume you just want the axleback unit to use with your fabspeed x-pipe. If this is the case - it would sound significantly less louder than the full race GTM system (as this system has no cats or resonators).

You weren't joking...this system sounds remarkable!

You had mentioned pairing with Challenge? Whats advantage of that appose to full RPI system.

Thanks Cal!

If you pair the RPI GTM axle back unit with Challenge X-Pipes, you have multiple options depending on what setup you want to go with. (ie: retain OEM cats, utilize HFCs, catless w/ resonators, etc.) whereas the full RPI GTM race system is just catless with no resonators...
