miami was not tired or outgunned, for as good as huston played and only won by 3 points tells you the heat were just not shooting the ball good, they relied on too many 3's that the ball didn't go in, they only made 3 out of 20something they took, thats what cost them the game.

huston played good but miami should have had the win, like litos said bosh/battier were non existent.

funny thing is that the Heat NEVER lead in the game. from the tip-off the Rockets stayed on top the entire way.

Rockets were up by 13 in the 4th quarter, despite that idiot Beasely's season high 24 points....

The Rockets committed 18 TO's AND their bench was outscored 44-15 and we STILL won by 3.....

Rockets have not lost to any East team at home this year: 13-0

Rockets are 19-0 since January when scoring 100 or more points....

1-6 when scoring less than a 100....

last one:

Rockets starters: 91 points, 38 rebounds, 24 assists.
Heat starters: 56 points, 16 rebounds, 14 assists.

as much as I loved that crossover by Harden, it seems to be an obvious 3 steps. My conclusion is that the best ball handlers and finishers are great at carrying the ball and travelling lol.

You must not watch many heat games then...Miami goes as Lebron goes.

Anyways, it's a mute point. Clippers, spurs, and thunder are the teams that miami might see in the finals, those are the teams i worry about.

There is no other way to slice it other than the Heat shot terribly, rebounded terribly. Bosh had 5 points, Chalmer had 3. Lebron had a below average performance.

The Rockets played one of their best game this season. Good ball movement, all the starters were in double figures. The team shot and rebounded incredibly well. The only exception was their 18 turnovers vs their season average of 15 TO.

Yet, the Rockets only won by 3 points.

Rockets escaped a "trap game" last night by beating Orlando.....

this game at the beginning of the year would have been a loss, but with the way the Rockets have been playing since Jan 1st, they pulled out a win after being down by 14.

Harden and Parsons put on a show...

our bench scored 11 points

Jeremy Lin has been shooting @ 15-20% in the last 4 games......

edit:
Lin vs Clippers: 2-8
Lin vs Pistons: 1-6
Lin vs Heat: 2-5
Lin vs Magic: 1-4

so, for the last 4 games, Lin has shot a measly 6-23.......that's a whole 26%......and ya'll wonder why he plays backup PG....

this Lin discussion is all over Houston SportsTalk Radio - we listen to it every day....

- Lin has a great first step, but he's not quick
- Lin picks up his dribble WAAAAAAAAAY too many times in dumb situations
- he can't defend anyone
- his best asset if finishing at the bucket, but too many times he blows past his defender with his first step, then goes up and is undecided as to take the shot or pass the ball. he gets caught in the air too many times
- his turnovers to assist ratio are ridiculous.
- and to top it all off, he's gonna make 15mm next year
- both PG's we have on our team are backup PG's and they're both bottom of the barrel in talent, but Pat Bev gets the start because of his attitude and his tenacious defense. his energy and swag is what this team needs. can't have a bunch of soft ass players on your team with no fire - THAT'S what Bev brings to the lineup. he's a fan favorite here because of that...

Yeah Lin has been horrible since the All Star break. It's like he lacks confidence. Maybe he's got some injury he's playing though but he's not the same guy he was back in December (still better than Beverly).

Pat Bev broke his nose last night.

stuffed cotton up there and kept playing.

....and that didn't look like one of those numbing swabs - that looked like a "stop the bleeding and get me back out there" swab.

kid is a fighter. Chicago strong.

Bron versus Pat Bev in the Mask Battle next week, ya'll......

I love how all these Miami fanboys are so good at putting down other teams accomplishments, if Miami doesn't 3-peat this year, I bet those Miami hats, and shirts go right into the closet never to be seen again.

We'll see about that.

Now here's something to chew on.

Lakers NBA Championships: 16
Heat NBA Championships: 3

We've won almost twice as many championships in the past 15 years as Miami's entire history.

won't argue with that, but for now, you have to take a backseat all together with all your trophies and watch heat fanboys bask in all their glory as the heat reign supreme

yesss!!!!!

durant could have had way more points than lebrons 61 the other night if he would have played the 4th qtr. i really do hope durants gets mvp.

also, is it atlanta who had an 11 game losing streak and still in the 8th spot? or was that another team that is in playoff contention with a bad record? the east is so trash compared to the west it makes me sick.

Are the Heat fanboys basking in the glory tonight or is Tim Duncan blocking the way?
