If you're man enough to douse yourself with Old Spice you won't even notice the smell of piss. Use enough of it and you'll lose your sense of taste as well.

Delivery time
Lovely looking car, how is the delivery time looking? My dealer is saying end of June / July and I ordered early Feb. I would have hoped the lead times would be improving.

I should be honoured you registered and first posted a reply to this (makes me slightly suspicious ) Yes lead-time is a May build and delivery first week June. TRL (Berry BMW) had an existing slot so I might have jumped a month or two, not sure. Saying all that, with all the EU chaos right now I'd understand it faliing well behind that timeline now, end of summer I'd still be happy. I'm in a BMW PCP till October in the X2 and even if that extended BMW would work something out I'm sure for remaining with them. What spec do you have on order, I've only seen 3 or 4 on the roads around here but the dealers are of course well stocked right now as its the season! I see you've a 2 sereis cnv history too, quite a funky little package that 2 series platform had a 235i and an M2, should have gone for a vert too! Cheers Chris

Well about that…the spec has changed….a bit….
Opted for a stock M4Comp XDrive that I'd had my eye on. Collection in 10 days now.

That looks very nice - not least the colour - so enjoy (assuming of course you don't cancel in favour of something else between now and collection day!). |

3.1s 0-60 for the XDrive. I recall sitting in a 911 Turbo S and feeling what that I Thought one day….. Well in a very odd way here she comes. On the flip side I'm really looking forward to the automation of the Driving Assistant Pro for the motorway.

Well that changed a bit! Nice one Chris will be an awesome car.
Bloody quick too based on a few carwow vids, not a lot will keep up with it (well, maybe a Model 3 Performance ). I know what i'd sooner have.

Fabulous choice. I saw one parked in my local club in black and people were really ogling it taking pictures etc (cars next to it with similar 0-60 figures which looked pedestrian seemed to be largely ignored). It's a thing of beauty and a greatcolour. What else to say congratulations.

Epic - that colour is spot on as well. What a machine, not much will be quicker in the real world…well this side of a Tesla anyway

Admiral appear to be very competitive at the moment, though my X3m is still no where near £360, but still got both cars insured for just under £1k on a multicar, where as most quotes were about this for the X3m alone!
