I would think similar, maybe a little better. But probably worse if the car has a ton of camber. I don't street drive hardly any of my 200tw tires they're too expensive lol

There is some new good tire out every 2-3 years anyways that I'd want to try so it's rare I totally blow through a set before they are just old. The A052 looks appealing but if they are just toast after 2500 miles that sucks.

I am on my 3rd set of A052. I usually get 3-4 track days and maybe 2000 miles driving to and from the track. I think you can break 3000-4000 miles if you don't track the car... but that is a waste of this tire to just street drive it.

I'm considering these in 295/30/18 square. I picked some Apex wheels on their black friday deal in 18x10.5 et22. Did any of you have to modify the rear to fit or have any rubbing issues? I know I'll likely need a spacer in the front, probably 5 or 10mm with my MCS shocks? I have a 6 inch spring with no helper. I went with the 6 inch so my ride height isn't slammed as I still drive it on the street. My current alignment is -3 degrees camber up front and -2.3 in the rear.

I wouldn't say they're quite in the NT01 class but in the 200 treadwear class, we would choose these any day. |

You can race on them too

The tires were remarkable and like at least one poster said/inferred, they punch above their weight. We used 1 set for the race and although they were shot at the end the tires were never an issue and performed beyond expectations. The car we raced is a 2600 lbs. E36 M3 race car so it's not apples to apples but ... We have run everything on our cars and our customer's cars. I wouldn't quite put these at the level of an NT01 but they seem to be the 200 treadwear class leaders. We would use them before R888s, which we've never been a huge fan of on our cars. |

I'm still undecided... I've run them as low as 27psi and as high as 35psi hot. I think I've settled on 33rear and 34front for now but I'm going to keep playing with it. This was under-tired though on the 265 fronts. I think one could get away with 30-32psi hot on a 295 or 315 setup. I think Yokohama recommends 29-32psi hot but our cars are so heavy I've tended to run mine a hair higher.

You referring to tread life? Cuz the A052 is sooo much faster than the NT01.

They're not the most durable compared their direct competition but we normally wouldn't race on them. Maybe as a track-day tire they'll last longer. I'm sure you or other people have more info. |

I'm the only crazy person trying to run the 295/35 and it's only because a couple sets fell in my lap.
295/30 is the way to go

I'd rather run the 35 so I don't have to drop the ride height car from my street wheels. The rear is obviously not the constraint, what does clearance look like in the front?

I haven't tested the 295/35 up front yet but while not quite as tall I'm betting it will be similar. I'm still waiting on the 18x11 et44 wheels to show up and then I'll test fit the 295/35's with spacers for various offsets and report back.

I am going to test the 295/35 at some point soon, but Brett and Adrian already pointed out it needs a higher offset with the width of that tire probably et32. So most of the work's already been done on the fitment. Front I'm going to keep running a 265/35 or do the 295/30 personally. Making 295/30 square a better option for wear.

hmm ok. I'll shoot for 35 psi. I tried them out for the first time. But only could get in a 3 laps before I ran into mechanical problems. they got to about 30 psi. and could not better my times with the Re71r. Was curious because the consensus is, these tires are faster.
