Got a Tag Heuer Kirium series but don't wear it that often. Up until now been using a Microsoft Band 2 as my day to day watch/activity tracker. Just ordered a Garmin Fenix 3 HR as the band 2 replacement now I am getting back to my usual exercise/sporting activities.

I use the fenix 3 HR as my every day watch. Fantastic piece of kit. The additional strap on heart monitor is must for running, gym, exercise etc

Well I've received my aliexpress strap, incredibly fast for free delivery from China, and they declared $5 value so no import duty!

I'm very impressed with the quality, even disregarding the fact it only cost £22 for the strap & clasp, it's definitely genuine leather! It was a bit difficult to get the clasp to close fully at first as the strap is a bit thick but it seems much better now after a bit of use.

It really changes the look of the watch compared to the steel bracelet:

The digital display on my Breitling Emergency started flashing this week indicating the batteries need changing. Took it to official dealers who have sent it back to Breitling for battery change & maintenance service - that'll be £415 provided nothing else needs doing !

The E goes back to Switzerland (or did when I had one). Batteries on the PLB are separate, and I guess they want to give it the highest chance of working should you ever need it.

Whether or not he listens to them, I don't know, but PP estimated production numbers are between 40-50,000. Per year.

Nearly bought a new watch today. Surprisingly restrained! Torn between a vintage (late 50s) JLC Memovox and a new Frederique Constant Worldtimer. Not really considered FC before but another of the 'budget' brands investing in their own movements and producing some quality stuff at lower level prices. I came away without to do more research, but everything I've seen is positive. Hmmmm... *strokes chin*
