Trying to troubleshoot a few issues with the wakaa device.

1. Reverse Line Detect is not listed in the settings and I do not have the option for dynamic guidance lines. Is this not compatible with the wakaa device or software version? CUST Version 9.2.2.yl.b and MCU Versions 20.4.2.14.

2. When holding down the steering wheel voice command button to activate Siri it also activates the BMW voice commands which takes priority. Is it possible to disable the BMW voice commands? 2012 CIC system with 6 pin LVDS.

Wow - this gets me sooo close - I can install it and it looks like it is working EXCEPT it has 'INVALID KEY' across the middle of the screen and most of the functions are disabled. Anyone know how to fix this or do I need a different version?

Looking at your post history you don't have an ANDREAM unit....

probably not -but I think the hardware is exactly the same - it's just the software seems to be locked to certain serial numbers (to stop cross-exchange of software). Anyone got any earlier software for CIC before they started putting the vendor specific locks in?

getting some errors on my box stating 'device working abnormally' so thought I would update it, there are two files but the instructions in this post only discuss one file in the update process - what do I do with the other binary file?

Place the upgrade.bin aka MCU onto your usb flash drive and select MCU update from the Software Update settings menu.

Right so two different flashes are needed for the complete update. Is their any recommendation which to do first?

Not usually critical but best to flash the system update first.

I bought the unit for two reasons, 1 it allows for after market backup camera with dynamic parking lines. 2. Android auto which seems like it will not be available for. Id5 nor id6

Just to report the new issues that I'm seeing since updating to v9.2.2.yl.b on my carlinkit device.

1. When reversing the pdc now shows my car as a convertible Z4
2. Dynamic guidelines appear for a few seconds even when I have the option switched off.
3. When the dynamic guidelines are enabled they actually are no longer dynamic, i.e. they don't move when you turn the wheel.

I can't see any reason to upgrade to this version, it doesn't seem to fix any issues (AA Resolution, Front Camera detection), it just creates new ones!

I've reported them all to the seller but no fixes yet and no new MCU.

I don't really have any problems, except it is missing the Equalizer they advertised. But Android auto works and back up camera works with dynamic lines with aftermarket camera I installed and that all I really wanted. \

Can you post a few pictures from further back (so that we can see the whole screen) and please one of your version info screen in the settings.

From what I can tell this looks actually good, so there might be hope after all.
Where did you buy? Which unit? Especially the main menu with the icons doesn't look like previous Andream units.

Ahh yes I missed that.

NBT Evo though, so most likely the software on it is no use to us.

Still would be nice to know what software version it has.
