Onboad video of my BMW crash during a track day

Hi, guys,

here's a video (full video coming soon; will post it here later) of my crash. Luckily, I was smart enough to buy a car with a roll cage, bucket seats and 5 point seat belts for track days... Drivers bucket seat was too small for me, so I bought a new one (just before this track day).
Nemunas ring track (Lithuania) is one of the most dangerous tracks in Europe and does not forgive mistakes... Mistakes usually result in a totaled car. Almost my case.
I'm glad I did not track my 335i. The outcome would have been much worse, both - cost and safety/injuries wise.

Drive safely.

Why not post the out-of-the-camera regular video as opposed to this overly dramatic "teaser" version?

Because I wanted so.
And another reason - making a "regular" video (with slowmo reply, pictures of the car, ec.) takes some time.
Overly dramatic? OK, if you say so.

Glad you're ok.

I grew up 100 meters away from Bikernieki track in Riga, Latvia. Always wonder what it would be like to go back there and drive my cars/bikes on it. Old tracks like that are crazy dangerous but also so amazing.

I lived in one of the houses in this pic:

Cool! Bikernieki track is a nice one. Also very dangerous, but not as much as Kacergine.
I have never driven a car on Bikernieki track but it is in my plans for the next year.

If you had posted the full video instead of intermittent feed, other people might have been able to learn something from this crash...instead all we are seeing are flashing video feeds leading up to your crash.

Thankfully you are okay, but no need to edit out the reason for the crash...whether it be driver error or not.

Couldn't see anything happening. Video clips are so short they might as well be still-shots.

Is it really a crash? Anyone can push in the glass and throw in some grass. Show us what happened.

I agree with folks above. Glad you are okay, but a forum is a place for folks to gather info. Videos of crashes on the track remind those of us that track our cars of the risks, and hopefully can teach us things NOT to do out there. If you are just practicing video editing skills, awesome, but why post it here? At least throw in some Transformers or explosions or something if we're just going to dramatic effect!
