scratches

I found a small scratch on the driver's side about 3 inches long and not deep the other day. Eventhough you must be close to the car to notice it but it is still such an eyesore.
Should I bring it to a dealer shop to have them brush it off and do some touch up repair ? How much will it cost?
Thank you

How deep is the scratch? is it to the barely metal?

Bring it to a good detailer and have them polish it with something. They have some pretty aggressive polishes that will likely make the scratch invisible unless you are REALLY looking for it. It's pretty amazing what they can do!

A surface scratch that will `catch' your fingernail is approximately 0.04 Mil (1.0 µ) deep will usually require wet sanding and refinishing

Heed jonanator advice...
